You could put a male cat and a female cat on an island, and within seven years, you could have as many as 420,000 cats. That's how prolifically they breed. If you don't get them spayed or neutered, it turns into a large colony of cats.
It's been a nightmare for them. You can see it physically on them. They're really worn down.
